This is my entry for :iconneco-ohno:'s contest. Credits to :iconsalioka-chan: for the left character.

I thought I'll never do any digital art try, but the traditional colored version looked so bad (I suck at coloring) I had to give a try to PS again, and seems that worked better, with a very good looking cell-shading, clean lineart and a [not-really-did-by-myself] background. Just to remember, left char is :iconsalioka-chan:'s and right one is mine, with an outfit change (lol did you really think I was going to do the christmas costume?)

About the background... I just followed a "bush making" tut and started to paste it many times. Sky is just Clouds filter. I look it like cheating, but anyway looks fine and that was my porpouse.

Very nice! I like the way you shaded the picture and chose two characters with matching ears. And it really looks like her arm is around the other person. I always have trouble with that kind of thing. The background is nice too.

oh and btw, for the surrounding arm you can just sketch it completelly if you use pencil but you can even do same with the pen tool (in the case of PS) and maybe do those lines in a layer underneath the lines layer

Thanks, I thought that character was the best cause they're kinda like family XD (the ears, yellow eyes, etc)
